Anti-Spam Policy

Last updated: February 24, 2026

Traffic.Bar runs a zero tolerance policy on spam. Email only works as a channel when people actually asked to hear from you. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every publisher that monetizes email through Traffic.Bar and to every campaign that touches email inventory.

Rules for email publishers

Consent. You may only send to recipients who gave prior, provable opt-in consent to receive commercial email from you or from the list owner you lawfully represent. Purchased, rented, scraped or harvested lists are banned.

Records. You must keep a consent record for each recipient: date, time, IP address, signup source URL and the consent text shown. Keep records for at least three years. Provide them to Traffic.Bar within five business days when we ask.

Laws. You must follow every law that applies to your sends. That includes the US CAN-SPAM Act, California Business and Professions Code section 17529.5, the EU GDPR and ePrivacy rules, and the anti-spam laws of every country you send to.

Sending domains. Domains used to send commercial email must be registered with accurate, publicly retrievable registrant information that identifies you or your sending entity. Privacy or proxy registration is not allowed for sending domains.

Honest emails. Header information must be accurate. Subject lines must not mislead about what is in the message. Each email must identify the sender and include a valid postal address.

Unsubscribe. Every email needs a working unsubscribe. Honor opt-outs within ten days. Apply advertiser suppression lists before sending.

How we enforce this

We vet email publishers before they can run. We may use seed addresses and other checks to verify sends. When we receive a complaint, we aim to review it within two business days. Confirmed violations lead to campaign suspension, reversal of related earnings, and account termination for serious or repeat cases. We cooperate with advertisers and with authorities when the law requires it.

Advertisers

If you believe traffic you bought came from non-compliant email, contact us with the campaign details and examples. We investigate every report.

Report spam

Report abuse to abuse@traffic.bar. Include the full email with headers, the date received, and the address it was sent to. We take these reports seriously.
