1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and improve your experience. Traffic.Bar uses cookies and similar technologies to operate our programmatic advertising platform.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. They enable core functionality such as account authentication, security, and session management. Without these cookies, the Service cannot operate properly.
- Session authentication and login state
- Security tokens and CSRF protection
- Load balancing and server routing
Performance Cookies
If you consent to performance cookies in the banner, these cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service by collecting usage data through Google Analytics, deployed through Google Tag Manager. This information helps us improve the platform and fix issues.
- Page load times and error tracking
- Feature usage and navigation patterns
- Aggregated analytics through Google Analytics (including
_gaand_ga_*after consent), deployed through Google Tag Manager
Functional Cookies
These cookies enable added features and personalization, such as remembering your dashboard preferences and display settings.
- Dashboard layout preferences
- Language and regional settings
- Recently viewed campaigns and reports
Advertising & Tracking Cookies
As a programmatic advertising platform, we use tracking cookies with your consent to deliver, measure, and optimize ad campaigns for our advertisers and publishers. These cookies are core to our ad exchange service.
- Campaign impression and click tracking
- Conversion attribution and reporting
- Fraud detection and traffic quality verification
- Frequency capping and targeting
3. Third-Party Services
Our site connects to third-party services. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager load only after you consent to performance cookies in the banner. Other third-party services are used when relevant:
- Google Analytics: Website usage analytics and performance monitoring; loads only with performance consent
- Google Tag Manager: Tag management and event tracking; loads only with performance consent
- Payment processors: Secure transaction processing on the platform
Fonts are served from our own servers. Viewing this website does not send a font request to Google.
These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review them.
4. Cookie Duration
Cookies we use fall into two categories based on duration:
- Session cookies: Deleted when you close your browser. Used for authentication and temporary preferences.
- Persistent cookies: Remain on your device for a period that varies by purpose and provider. Used for remembering preferences and, if you consent, analytics.
Cookies and Storage on trafficbar.com
This website sets no first-party cookies of its own. The table below lists what this website stores or can store on your device.
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Set by | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
tb_cookie_consent_v2 | Local storage | Essential | Remembers your cookie category choices | Traffic.Bar | Until you delete it |
tb_subscribed | Local storage | Essential | Remembers that you subscribed to the newsletter, so we stop asking | Traffic.Bar | Until you delete it |
_ga | Cookie | Performance | Tells returning Google Analytics visitors apart | 2 years | |
_ga_Q2ZTEEW1NJ | Cookie | Performance | Keeps Google Analytics session state | 2 years |
The _ga cookies are set only after you consent to performance cookies. This website sets no functional or advertising cookies today. If we add them later, they will load only with the matching consent, and this table will be updated. The Traffic.Bar platform (the logged-in dashboard at traffic.bar) sets its own authentication and preference cookies, described in section 2.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Cookie banner: The banner lets you choose by category: essential, performance, functional and advertising. Under Google Consent Mode v2, analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are denied by default. Analytics storage is granted only if you consent to performance cookies, and ad storage types only if you consent to advertising cookies. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager do not load until you consent to performance cookies. Your choices are stored in your browser's local storage under
tb_cookie_consent_v2. Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer to change them at any time. - Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings menu. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning properly.
- Opt-out tools: You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Do Not Track: We do not currently respond separately to DNT browser signals. Use the cookie banner or your browser settings to control non-essential storage.
6. Impact of Disabling Cookies
If you choose to disable cookies, please be aware that:
- You may not be able to log in or use account features
- Dashboard preferences will not be saved between sessions
- Campaign tracking and reporting accuracy may be affected
- Some features of the Service may not function as intended
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
